Triatlón todo el año en Mallorca con Let’s Tri / Triathlon for everyone all year round in Mallorca with Let’s Tri series


El circuito Let’s Tri de acuatlón, duatlón y triatlón mantiene su oferta de deporte y diversión en Mallorca y encara la recta final de la temporada 2013 con algunas de las competiciones más esperadas por los deportistas locales y europeos que acuden a la isla en busca de pruebas únicas en los mejores entornos naturales posibles. Tras el éxito del pasado Triatlón Sprint Ciutat de Palma, llega el Acuatlón CN Arenal el 27 de julio y el potente Triatlón de Pollença el 28 de septiembre, con uno de los recorridos más espectaculares en Europa.  Mallorca es el escenario perfecto para el nacimiento de las series Let’s Tri que complementan y aportan una nueva visión a los otros grandes eventos triatléticos internacionales que se celebran durante todo el año en Mallorca. Let’s Tri ha desarrollado ya en 2013 tres pruebas de su circuito con dos duatlones (Ciutat de Palma y Binissalem) y el esperado Triatlón Sprint Ciutat de Palma el pasado 9 de junio. Las siguientes citas del calendario, que aunan la mejor organización profesional, eventos de gran calidad para los deportistas profesionales y amateurs, con precios económicos y un novedoso sistema de ránking con premios a los mejores del año, serán el Acuatlón CN Arenal el 27 de julio y el esperadísimo Triatlón de Pollença, el 28 de septiembre. Las series Let’s Tri 2014 arrancarán el 8 de marzo con el Duatlón de Palma de Mallorca, que a buen seguro contará con una nutrida representación de deportistas alemanes e ingleses.

En total serán unos 2.000 triatletas los que durante todo el año forman parte del Let’s Tri con el objetivo de la última prueba en Pollença, en uno de los más espectaculares recorridos en Europa y con un trazado exigente y duro, sin drafting, pero asequible al mismo tiempo por las distancias: 1.900 metros de natación, 56 km de ciclismo y 10 km de carrera pie.

El Triatlón de Pollença (28 de septiembre) es una prueba muy especial y atractiva, y a buen seguro será referencia internacional en pocas ediciones gracias a su dureza y a su espectacular recorrido. La natación (1.900 metros) tendrá lugar en las cristalinas aguas de Pollença. El segmento ciclista de 56 km discurre por la parte más bonita del Ironman 70.3 Mallorca por la zona norte de la isla entre Port de Pollença, Escorca, Caimari, Selva, Campanet y Pollença. La carrera a pie de 10 km también es especialmente exigente, incluso cruzando algunos senderos de trail running, con una subida sostenida hasta los 300 m de altitud entre los kilómetros 3 y 5.

Los participantes pueden inscribirse a una de las pruebas o bien al circuito completo, con precios especiales y con algunas promociones y regalos muy atractivos.

Triathlon for everyone all year round in Mallorca with Let’s Tri series

Let’s Tri is the brand new triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon series in Mallorca, and offers all kind of athletes a new approach to the Triathlon sport in the Balearic Islands, full of fun and perfect for all skills/levels, from beginners to top endurance triathletes, the whole year round. These high-quality events are located in the most astonishing spots in Mallorca throughout the whole year.

The first race of the season was the popular Triathlon Sprint Ciutat de Palma (in the city centre), and the next dates will be on July 27th the Aquathlon CN Arenal in the well-known triathlete/swimming international training center of El Arenal, and the Triathlon de Pollença (September 28), which is the flagship of the Let’s Tri series, with a demanding and beautiful course. The upcoming 2014 season will start early on March 8th with the Duathlon Palma de Mallorca.

Mallorca is the perfect scene to host the first events of the Let’s Tri series. Triathlon is building momentum in Europe and the Ballearic Island is the spot where German, Austrian, British… athletes want to go for long training sessions or just to have perfect conditions to race. Let’s Tri offers a wide range of events, just for fun or for performance, for beginners and for experienced and top athletes who love to compete in awesome natural settings and demanding courses. The brand new series already started with two duathlon events (Ciutat de Palma and Binissalem) this year, and just a few weeks ago organized the popular Triathlon Sprint “Ciutat de Palma”. Over 2,000 triathletes are going to race at least one of the Let’s Tri events this current year.

The next event will be Aquathlon at Nautic Club CN Arenal on July 27th,, in the lovely bay of Palma de Mallorca. On September 28th, Triathlon de Pollença will be hosted in the village of Pollença, located in the north of the island, probably the most beautiful nature area of Mallorca. This is a perfect venue for a demanding bike course, similar to that of the Ironman 70.3 Mallorca: 56km cycling leg around Pollença, Lluc, Selva, Campanet, Pollença… Before the bike segment, athletes have to swim 1.9 km in the scenic Mediterranan sea, close to the port. The run course is a tough one, with some kms ideal for trail running and a hilly profile to the spectacular finish line in this picturesque village.

Athletes can sign up for the entire series, with a special price, or just pick one or some of the events. Let’s Tri 2014 will start early in March with the well known Duathlon de Palma de Mallorca, with a professional set up and a perfect date for the international athletes to start the season after several days or weeks of training in Mallorca and before other big international triathlon events such as Triathlon de Portocolom or Ironman 70.3.
